    Overview

    A tranquil, traditional campsite within the M25 motorway, which has been in the Club's care for more than 90 years.


    Our pretty Walton on Thames Club campsite ticks all the boxes for campers wishing to experience the hustle and bustle of the capital but camp in the more relaxed setting of the countryside. You would hardly know this leafy green oasis is located within London’s orbital M25 motorway.

     

    The campsite is well laid out and surprisingly tranquil and spacious. There’s an excellent dog walk on site and numerous opportunities for dogs and walkers to stretch their legs off site, including a pleasant riverside walk into Hersham. Look out for the site’s resident parakeets.

     

    Horse riding, golf, Nordic walking and llama trekking are all activities that can be enjoyed within the vicinity of the campsite.

     

    Train stations at nearby Walton on Thames and Hersham make London and its attractions very easily accessible. Family days out not in the capital can be enjoyed at Thorpe Park, Chessington World of Adventures and Legoland theme parks. The popular Hampton Court Palace and Claremont Landscape Garden are close by.

    		 These are grass pitches with no electric hook-up or other services, suitable for a standard sized tent, caravan or motorhome.

    		These are jumbo grass pitches with no electric hook-up, suitable for units measuring more than 5m x 9m.


    		These are jumbo grass pitches with electric hook-up, suitable for units measuring more than 5m x 9m.


    		These are super service hard standing pitches with electric hook-up, fresh water and waste drainage, suitable for those looking for a little more luxury whilst they camp.

     

    Access and SatNav Advice

    Arrival time should be after 1pm as there are no passing places in the approach lane. This site is outside of the Congestion Charge and Low Emission Zone. To avoid low railway bridges on the A244 use Rydens Rd in Walton on Thames.

     

    Worth Noting

    Please note that this site has no toilet or showers, so you will need suitable facilities in your unit.

    Eat Local

    Fridgeway at Squires Garden Centre sells local fruit, vegetables and preserves and Garsons has PYO (in season) including asparagus, peas and raspberries.

    Chessington World of Adventure
