Tours of Windsor for over 170 years

"My late father, John Seear, drove carriages on the Long Walk for over fifty years and I was fortunate enough to drive with both my Father and Grandfather in Windsor Great Park.  It is my privilege to preserve the tradition for the next generation and beyond.

When I 'took over the reins' in 2014 I began combining my dad's wonderful stories, handed down through the generations, with the magic of the Great Park. It means our carriage tours offer a truly unique experience of this magnificent Royal estate. During the ride we share in the history of the Great Park and our generations of horses and carriages, while you take in the stunning views of Windsor Castle, meet the resident deer and encounter historical monuments, ancient forests and stunning horticultural displays.

Book today and experience the peace and tranquillity of the Great Park on one of our Carriage Tours or contact us and let us help plan the perfect experience for your wedding or event.

Choose from either our scheduled tours on The Long Walk or let us create a Great Park Experience just for you.  Over the years we’ve done this for both private and corporate clients - just tell us the occasion and guest list, then we do all the work. We also can provide our quintessentially English Windsor Carriages picnic hampers and sparkling wines, carefully selected and sourced from within the Royal Estate to add to your tour.
Enjoy our carriages which are all classic models that have been maintained, restored or re-created to be the same as those used centuries ago. They are fitted with authentic wheels and traditional fittings - we still work with craftsmen who use skills which date back to the 14th century.

Our tours are much more than a carriage ride. We bring a unique perspective to the Great Park by sharing the knowledge, stories and events passed down through the generations of coachmen and shared with guests of Windsor Carriages by license since 1849.

All of us at Windsor Carriages look forward to seeing you soon. - Rebecca Seear"
