You could stay at Chertsey Club Site for a month and still find plenty of wonderful things to do. Perched on the banks of the River Thames, this lovely campsite has a rural feel despite being just 50 minutes from Central London by train. Walkers will enjoy the Thames Path Nature Trail - a long-distance towpath trail that starts in the Cotswolds and meanders through Chertsey towards the heart of London. It’s a peaceful and scenic trail that’s ideal for people of all ages and abilities.

For gardening enthusiasts, there are plenty of outdoor spaces to explore. Head to the world-famous Kew Gardens, around half an hour’s drive away, and immerse yourself in a beautiful botanic and biodiverse paradise - it’s a UNESCO World Heritage Site that’s home to over 50,000 living plants. Nearby Wisely and Savill gardens are also well worth a visit, both of which are within easy reach of Chertsey Club Site.

Windsor Castle is nearby too. The oldest and largest occupied castle in the world, this magnificent estate was founded by William the Conqueror in the 11th century and has since been the home of 39 monarchs. Today, The Queen spends most of her private weekends at the Castle.

If you’re camping with the kids, you can’t go wrong with a day of adrenalin-fuelled fun at LegoLand, Thorpe Park or Chessington World of Adventures, packed with hair-raising rides and attractions. Or why not race over to nearby Ascot or Epsom for a flutter?

After all that excitement, Chertsey Club Site offers a welcome reprieve. This lovely sheltered site provides spacious pitches and comes well-equipped with showers, washing facilities, a children’s play area and a games room.
